Pilates

As a dancer and dance teacher, I'm always looking for new ways of training the mind and body. When I was introduced to Pilates in college, it instantly became a new passion of mine. Pilates was one of the first methods of cross training that I felt to be truly fun, energizing, empowering AND mindfully reinforcing my technique.​

After a few years of training and certification,  I am so excited to be offering Pilates Privates for ages 7+ and group classes for teens and adults (that includes dance parents too!). Some of the benefits of pilates includes

Privates are one-on-one completely  personalized workouts using Pilates Mat, Reformer, Magic Circle and Foam

Roller. Privates are ideal for meeting personal goals, releasing unnecessary tension in the body through exercise and feeling confident, capable, and connected to your body. Set time aside for yourself and achieve your fitness goals through this intense yet energizing workout-designed just for you.

Group Mat Classes

$14-$18

In these weekly Mat Pilates classes for teens and adults, you can expect to be challenged by a full body workout focusing on breath, proper form and controlled, intentional movements. In every class, we use the magic circle to find deep stretches, foam roller for fascial release, and various other props to enhance our workout. Come early to register at the front desk or sign up online through Class Pass or Jackrabbit.

Please note that all privates and group classes will take place at Elevation Studios in Signal Hill. Payments for Privates can be made through Cash, Venmo, or Apple Pay while group classes will go through Elevation Studios.

About my Certification

I am Pilates Certified in Mat and Reformer Methods through Steven Sofia and Robin Kish of Synergy Pilates. I am trained in both Classical and Contemporary approaches to teaching and will often use both in my Pilates Privates in order to create the best possible personalized workouts for each client.
